USD exchange rate steady at Egyptian banks Tuesday

CAIRO - 23 May 2017: For the second day in a row, the Egyptian pound has stabilized against the U.S. dollar exchange rate on Tuesday currency transactions at LE 18.05 for buying and LE 18.15 for selling.

The highest USD exchange rate registered at the Commercial International Bank (CIB) where it stood at LE 18.05 for buying and LE 18.15 for selling, slightly more than LE 18.03 for buying and LE 18.14 for selling rate at the Central Bank of Egypt.

At Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the USD marked LE. 17.95 for buying and LE18.05 for selling.

As for the euro, it stood at LE 20.14 for buying and LE 20.31 for selling, meanwhile, the Great British Pound (GBP) recorded LE. 23.28 in buying and LE.23.47 for selling, according to data provided by the NBE.

On the Arab currencies level, the Saudi riyal marked LE. 4.78 for buying and LE. 4.81 for selling, while the Kuwaiti dinar registered LE. 59.14 for buying and LE. 59.51 for selling.
