CAIRO – 20 May 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes were all up during last week’s transactions.
The benchmark EGX30 index increased 0.35 percent, standing at 12,952 points, the EGX said Thursday in its weekly report.
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap enterprises EGX70 index rose 0.64 percent, registering 591 points, while the all-embracing EGX100 index surged 1.49 percent, totaling 1,380 points.
Market capitalization was almost flat, decreasing only 0.1 percent, reaching nearly 666.8 billion EGP ($36.8 billion).
Total turnover registered 5.3 billion EGP, compared to 5 billion EGP over the previous week.
