CAIRO - 12 July 2018: Aide to the president for national and strategic projects Ibrahim Mahlab has said that the mega development projects the Egyptian state has carried out in the past few years constituted a successful experiment that won the admiration and appreciation of the world.

In statements to MENA on the sidelines of his participation in the 26th round of the Arab economic forum in the Lebanese capital Beirut, Mahlab said the Egyptian experiment in carrying out such projects can be applied in other regional countries.

He pointed out that the Egyptian experiment has been successful despite the risks and challenges the country faced including the threat of terrorism and anti-Egypt schemes by evil forces in an attempt to destroy Egypt's institutions and its people.

Mahlab praised Egyptian-Lebanese relations describing them as strong and distinguished, pointing out that he participated in mega projects in some Arab countries including Lebanon and that he is proud that his participation contributed to the success of these projects.
