Assar, Lava, Smart companies probe coop. in electronics manufacturing

CAIRO - 30 June 2018: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar on Saturday discussed with representatives of the Indian Lava Company and Smart Co. aspects of joint cooperation in the domains of manufacturing and promoting electronic devices.

Assar was briefed on the latest developments of current cooperation under an agreement signed between the Military Production Ministry-affiliate Benha Electronics Company and Lava and Smart companies to establish a joint factory for manufacturing and promoting electronic devices, including mobile phones and tablets.

"Such fruitful cooperation seeks enhancing local industry in the field of electronics, exchanging the technical and technological know-how, benefiting from Indian expertise along with opening new markets for entrepreneurs," Assar said.

Meanwhile, the chairmen of Lava and Smart companies expressed appreciation over support they received during cooperation with the Military Production Ministry.
