PARIS - 27 June 2018: Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform Minister Hala el Saeed took part in a round table discussion on the sustainable development strategy "Egypt Vision 2030" on the fringe of an economic forum on the future of Egyptian-French ties, currently in session at the Arab Institute in Paris.

According to a statement released by the Ministry on Wednesday, Saeed said Vision 2030 is a major achievement for the Egyptian government and the Ministry of Planning in association with all categories of the society.

She pointed out that updates of Egypt's Vision 2030 come in line with local, regional and international changes and in view of the recent economic reforms introduced by the state.

The minister said that the strategy of 2030 is based on partnership with the civil society and the private sector, stressing that an important factor for its success youth engagement.

The main strategic objectives of the vision include building the Egyptian character, improving the quality of life and standards of living, achieving equality of opportunities, social justice as well as propelling the Egyptian economy, added the minister.
