CAIRO - 10 June 2018: Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el Molla held on Sunday a meeting with President of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce Ulrich Hermann and a delegation of the German Thyssenkrupp AG group.

In a press release, Molla stressed his ministry's keenness on promoting aspects of cooperation with German companies in the oil field.

He further stressed that his ministry is planning to carry out several projects in the oil sector, calling on German companies to invest in these projects.

The German delegation, meanwhile, stressed the Thyssenkrupp AG group's desire to cooperate with Egyptian companies to launch new projects in Egypt in the fields of petrochemicals and oil refining.

The group's representatives also voiced readiness to work on developing production units at the fertilizer projects in Egypt.

Hermann, for his part, said that petroleum projects represent a major starting point for the German companies willing to expand their business in Egypt.
