GENEVA - 1 June 2018: Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saffan tackled on Friday with UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli the situation of Egyptians working in the UAE and friendly ways aiming at solving their problems with their employers.

During the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 107th session of the International Labour Conference that kicked off in Geneva, Saffan appreciated the UAE efforts in supporting Egypt, lauding the unique ties between the two countries.

The ministers mulled the implementation of electronic connectivity system between the two ministries, which contribute to providing database of UAE needs for Egyptian labor through a labor representation office at the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

The UAE minister welcomed the idea of electronic labor connectivity between the two countries and also appreciated Egyptian labor working in the UAE
