Importing Brent crude oil at $75 costs state about LE103B

CAIRO - 29 May 2018: An official economic report said importing Brent crude oil at $75 per barrel costs the state about LE 103.934 billion.

The report added that the total cost of each butane cylinder is LE 175.2 ; citizens pay only LE 30 and the state bears the rest, bringing the importation costs of 183 million cylinders to LE 26.571 billion.

The 92 octane fuel is sold at LE 5 per liter and is imported at 10.84 pounds, while 80 octane fuel is sold at LE 3.65 per liter and is imported at LE 9.66.

The report added that diesel oil is sold at LE 3.65 per liter and is imported at LE 11.14.

The report revealed that the value of importing the previous types of fuel which is paid by the state hit LE 146.987 billion.
