CAIRO - 10 May 2018: Egypt urged Mexican companies to boost investments in Egypt, CEO of the General Authority for Investment (GAFI) Mona Zoba’a.

Meeting with members of the Egyptian-Mexican business council, Zoba’a said Cairo pays greater attention to investors from Latin American countries that witnessed a remarkable growth over the past few years.

Egypt is keen on maintaining close cooperation with friendly counties with the aim of luring investments and enhancing relations, she said.

Earlier, Investment Minister Sahar Nasr called for establishing an Egyptian-Mexican investment council.

Today’s meeting was attended by Mexican Ambassador to Egypt Jose Octavio Tripp and senior GAFI officials.
