Canada-Egypt Business Council discuss SME Wednesday

CAIRO - 25 January 2018: The small and medium sized projects committee of Canada-Egypt Business Council (CEBC) and the Egyptian Council for Sustainable Development (ECSD) will organize on Wednesday a symposium themed "Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Future of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises in Egypt".

The CEBC said in a statement on Thursday that the small and medium sized enterprises sector received considerable attention by the Egyptian government over the past period of time in view of launching several initiatives and plans meant to develop it.

However, the sector is still facing a number of challenges, the fact that requires supporting entrepreneurship sector and encouraging innovation which considered key factors to achieve economic development, the statement added.
