CAIRO, Dec 20 () - Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil on Wednesday said that Canada has allowed access of fresh Egyptian grapes into its markets in line with agreed upon criteria and preconditions between both sides.

In a released statement, he added that the Canadian decision was adopted after long negotiations that lasted for more than one year.

The Canadian market is one of the biggest markets receiving fresh grapes.

This state of affairs will help increase Egyptian exports to Canada. Grape exports to Canada in 2016 hit 430 million dollars, he added.
