CAIRO – 19 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Tuesday in mixed note, with benchmark index EGX30 went down 0.29 percent to stand at 14,678 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 increased 0.57 percent to end at 840.45 points and the broader index EGX100 leveled up 0.33 percent to close at 1,962.16 points.

Market capitalization lost LE 71 million as it recorded LE 827.49 billion, down from LE 827.756 billion at the end of transactions on Monday.

Arab individuals and institutions were net sellers at LE 43.8 million and LE 6.7 million respectively, meanwhile, Egyptian and foreign institutions and individuals were net buyers at LE 6.4 million, LE 4.3 million, LE 17.8 million and LE 22 million respectively.

Shares of 66 companies recorded increases, while 99 others saw declines, while, shares of 29 firms remained unchanged.
