CAIRO – 18 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Monday in green, with benchmark index EGX30 slightly going up 0.03 percent to stand at 14,721 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 increased 2.11 percent to end at 835.67 points and the broader index EGX100 leveled up 1.65 percent to close at 1,955.6 points.

Market capitalization gained LE 2.4 billion as it recorded LE 827.756 billion, up from LE 825.192 billion at the end of transactions on Sunday.

Egyptian and Arab individuals as well as Arab institutions were net sellers at LE 46.7 million, LE 11.4 million and LE 3.8 million, while foreign individuals and institutions in addition to Egyptian institutions were net buyers at LE 2.4 million, LE 58.6 million and LE 780,000 respectively.

Shares of 81 companies recorded increases, while 77 others saw declines, while, shares of 29 firms remained unchanged.
