CAIRO - 4 December 2017: Minister of Planning, Monitoring & Administrative Perform Hala el Saed met with United Nations (UN) Deputy Secretary General Amina Mohammed as well as UN Resident Coordinator to Egypt Richard Dictus.

The meeting took up means of linking (Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt's vision 2030) with international sustainable development goals.

The two sides probed means of attaining the sustainable development goals and linking it with investments besides steps to be taken to achieve 2030 international agenda and the 2063 African one.

The get-together tackled also international issues of common interest such as financial inclusion and means of financing micro, small and medium enterprises.

El Saed reviewed the priorities of planning in Egypt with its economic and social aspects as well as using modern technological means of supporting this system.

For her part, Mohammed said that there are 17 UN sustainable development goals that include uprooting poverty as well as hunger and enhancing sustainable agriculture, health and education.
