U.S. dollar exchange rate stable at Egyptian banks

CAIRO- 29 October 2017: The Egyptian pound exchange rate was stable against U.S. dollar in Sunday's morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar recorded an average of LE 17.59 for buying and LE 17.69 in majority of banks, including the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Meanwhile, it recorded LE 17.6 for buying and LE 17.7 for selling in Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt.

Slightly going down, the euro exchange rate stood at LE 20.30 for buying and LE 20.63 for selling.

The GBP (British Pound) inched down to register LE 23 for buying and LE 23.9 for selling.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.69 for buying and LE 4.71 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.18 for buying and LE 58.64 for selling, while the Emirati dirham market LE 4.78 for buying and LE 4.81 for selling.
