DUBAI – 9 October 2017: Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Yasser el Qady held a number of important meetings with officials of international companies specialized in advanced technological solutions, artificial intelligence and information technology (IT) services via the outsourcing system.

During his participation in GITEX Technology Week Exhibition, el Qady met with the chief executive officer of G Digital group to probe cooperation opportunities with the telecommunication, IT and various governmental sectors in the field of integrated governmental services via providing advanced technological solutions.

The minister reviewed Egypt's vision towards digital transformation, pointing out to the effort exerted to attract international investments, the growth witnessed by the Egyptian telecommunication and IT sector and the strategic initiatives implemented by the state to develop technology at the local level so as to serve industry and the regional markets.

For its part, the firm expressed its keenness on pumping huge investments in the telecommunication and IT sector via the company's plans that targets providing integrated governmental technical services.

During the get-together, the company reviewed its technical expertise in the artificial intelligence which supported digital transformation efforts and economic growth in many governments of the region.

El Qady also met with officials of US Sutherland Global Services company topped by Chief Commercial Officer K.S. Kumar where expanding in the firm's operations in Egypt was discussed.
