U.S. dollar exchange rate bounces back against Egyptian pound

CAIRO- 3 October 2017: The Egyptian pound exchange rate slightly went up against U.S. dollar in Wednesday's morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar recorded LE 17.60 for buying and LE 17.70 for selling, compared to LE 17.59 for buying and LE 17.69 for selling Tuesday.

Going down, the euro exchange rate recorded LE 20.67 for buying and LE 20.79 for selling, compared to LE 20.69 for buying and LE 20.82 for selling Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) also deteriorated to LE 23.29 for buying and LE 23.43 for selling, down from LE 23.36 for buying and LE 23.50 for selling in the latest banking transactions.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.69 for buying and LE 4.72 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.19 for buying and LE 58.65 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.79 for selling and LE 4.81 for buying.
