CAIRO – 2 October 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s in green, with benchmark index EGX30 breaking records by surpassing the 14,000 points after it went up by 0.17 percent.
The small and mid-cap index EGX70 rose 0.65 percent to end at 785 points. The broader index EGX100 also leveled up 1.19 percent to close at 1,762 points.
Market capitalization grew LE 3.9 billion Monday to LE 760.19 billion, compared to LE 756.295 billion in Sunday transactions.
Egyptian investors and institutions were net sellers at LE 28.9 million and 79.1 million respectively, while Arab individuals and institutions recorded net purchases of LE 9.4 million and LE 8.2 million respectively.
