CAIRO- 1 October 2017: The Egyptian pound maintained stability against U.S. dollar in Sunday's morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar recorded LE 17.6 for buying and LE 17.70 for selling, which is one piaster less than LE 17.612 for buying and LE 17.712 for selling registered over the past two weeks.

Going up, the euro exchange rate recorded LE 20.74 for buying and LE 20.86 for selling, compared to LE 20.77 for buying and LE 20.89 for selling Thursday.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) slightly went down to LE 23.63 for buying and LE 23.77 for selling, compared to LE 23.58 for buying and LE 23.72 for selling in the latest banking transactions.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.64 for buying and LE 4.721 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.22 for buying and LE 58.67 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.79 for selling and LE 4.823 for buying.
