HURGHADA, Egypt - 27 September 2017: The Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources has allocated 378 million pounds to establish dams and industrial lakes to control floods in the Red Sea governorate.

In a statement, Red Sea Governor Ahmed Abdullah said five equipment have been installed to monitor rainfall in the coastal city.

A state of emergency has been announced in the governorate to combat any possible floods, the governor noted.
