Kabil invited to economic forum in Tajikistan mid October

CAIRO - 12 September 2017: Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil has received an invitation from Tajikistan to attend an economic cooperation forum between Arab and Central Asian countries, plus Azerbaijan.

The conference, the second, is set to take place in Dushanbe mid October.

Tajik ambassador in Cairo Khusrav Noziri handed over the invitation to Qabil in a meeting earlier Tuesday.

The meeting took up economic and investment relations between Egypt and Central Asian countries, Tajikistan in particular, a statement by the Trade and Industry Ministry said.

Qabil welcomed the invitation and said Egypt is keen on sending a high-ranking delegation to the forum, which was first held in Saudi Arabia in 2014.
