U.S. dollar exchange rate stable Monday

CAIRO – 21 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate stabilized in Monday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar remained stable at LE 17.712 for buying and LE 17.812 for selling.

The euro exchange rate hiked to register LE 20.82 for buying and LE 20.95 for selling, compared to LE 20.73 for buying and LE 20.85 for selling in Sunday transactions.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) inched down to LE 22.79 for buying and LE 22.94 for selling, from LE 22.81 for buying and LE 22.94 for selling recorded in the prior day.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.723 for buying and LE 4.749 for selling, according to the CBE.

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.65 for buying and LE 59.03 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.822 for selling and LE 4.850 for buying.
