ITDA to enhance current trade methods

CAIRO – 13 August 2017: The Egyptian Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) has held its first meeting in the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade on Sunday, discussing the authority’s role and goals in the upcoming period.

The authority also discussed the restructuring of the board of directors with Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Meselhy and Ibrahim Ashmawy, the authority’s new head.

Several plans were agreed upon, including potential investment opportunities in various governorates, such as Fayoum, Luxor, Qena, Assiut, Suez and Daqahleya, which comes in parallel to the logistics plans held in Suez and the New Administrative Capital.
The authority also plans to enhance the current efficiency of the commercial registry to provide advanced services in trade and industry.
