EGYTRANS profits soar 230%, sales hike 153% in H1

CAIRO – 8 August 2017: Egyptian Transport and Commercial Services Co’s (EGYTRANS) profits after deducting taxes skyrocketed 230.4 percent year-on-year to LE 53 million ($3M) in the first half of 2017, up from LE 16 million, a Monday statement said.

The company reasoned the hike in profits to the projects’ activity.

Sales surged 153 percent to LE 184.6 million in the first six months of this year, compared to LE 18.3 million in the same period of the previous year.

Earnings per share (EPS) escalated 232 percent to reach LE 1.36, after LE 0.41 in the first half of 2016.

EGYTRANS is an Egypt-based company engaged in the provision of transport and logistics solutions in Egypt.
