CAIRO – 7 August 2017: Egyptian Exchange-listed Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) exported 65,000 tons of fuel oil in fiscal year 2016/17, with the worth of $17.5 million (LE 315 million).

AMOC’s total production of oils reached 118,000 tons in the last fiscal year, up from 114,000 tons in FY2015/16, the company said in its annual report, published Monday.
With regards to butane gas, AMOC produced 31,000 tons in FY2016/17, compared to 28,000 tons in the previous fiscal year.

AMOC profits surged 153 percent year-on-year to LE 1.1 billion, after deducting taxes, in financial year 2016/2017 from LE 435 million.

Local firm AMOC operates in the petroleum industry. The Egyptian Exchange-listed firm specializes in the production of essential mineral oils, paraffin wax and its derivatives, naphtha and butane. It markets its products in Egypt and abroad.
