CAIRO – 7 August 2017: Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr on Monday announced that Reda Abdel Moaty will hold the post of the acting head of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).

Moaty served as the deputy chairman of EFSA and worked as a legal advisor for several entities, including Suez Canal University, Alexandria Sanitary Drainage Company and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

During her speech at the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) Monday’s opening session, Nasr stressed the ministry’s support for the stock market and EFSA.

The minister noted that she will present the financial leasing and factoring law at the next Cabinet’s meeting on Wednesday.

On Sunday, Nasr said that Mohamed Farid Saleh has been named as the new head of EGX for the next four years, as per the decision of Prime Minister Sherif Ismail.
