CAIRO – 7 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate has gradually declined by two piasters for both buying and selling in Monday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar is LE 17.74 for buying and LE 17.84 for selling, down from LE 17.76 for buying and LE 17.86 for selling Sunday.

The euro exchange rate also went down to register LE 20.88 for buying and LE 21.01 for selling, compared to LE 21.073 for buying and LE 21.19 for selling in the prior.

Declining as well, the GBP (British Pound) deteriorated to LE 23.12 for buying and LE 23.27, down from LE 23.32 for buying and LE 23.46 for selling Sunday.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.73 for buying and LE 4.752 for selling, according to the CBE.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.74 for buying and LE 59.11 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.83 for selling and LE 4.85 for buying.
