U.S. dollar exchange rate keeps slightly weakening Sunday

CAIRO – 6 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate slightly went down 1 piaster for buying and 4 piasters for selling against the Egyptian pound in Sunday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar is LE 17.76 for buying and LE 17.86 for selling, down from LE 17.77 for buying and LE 17.90 for selling Thursday.

The euro stabilized at LE 21.073 for buying and LE 21.19 for selling, the same exchange rate of last banking transactions Thursday.

The GBP (British Pound) deteriorated to LE 23.32 for buying and LE 23.46 for selling, compared to LE 23.53 for buying and LE 23.67 for selling Thursday.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.73 for buying and LE 4.76 for selling, according to the CBE.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.70 for buying and LE 59.38 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.83 for selling and LE 4.86 for buying.
