CAIRO – 3 August 2017: Egypt Post will reportedly sign three agreements with international shopping platform Jumia to cooperate in the field of electronic commerce.

The agreement will include offering clients the option of collecting their goods and paying for them through the nearest Egypt Post offices, official sources, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Egypt Today on Wednesday.

As part of the government’s strategy to transform to a digital society, Egypt Post offices were upgraded to offer more services using digital methods.

Jumia is a web-based platform for online shopping. Active in Egypt since 2012, Jumia announced in April that it will open logistics centers in different locations across Egypt.
