Kabil cancels vegetable oil specifications

CAIRO – 1 August 2017: Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade Tarek Kabil issued Tuesday decree no. 999/2017 to cancel standard specifications of raw vegetable oil.

The vegetable oil includes sunflower, soybean, coconut, corn, palm kernel, cotton seed oil, palm and palm acetate oils, Kabil said in a statement.

After the new changes, the vegetable oil standards will be measured as per the specifications set by the ministry in 2015.
