CAIRO – 24 June 2026: More than 10,000 participants from over 70 countries are expected to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 in Cairo this November.
Egypt will officially launch its hosting of the third edition of the event, described as the world's largest entrepreneurship festival, at a conference in Cairo on Saturday.
Held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the conference will bring together senior government officials, investors, entrepreneurs and representatives of diplomatic missions and development institutions.
Next week's event will formally announce Egypt as host of the festival's third edition following two previous editions held in Nigeria and Ghana. The festival is scheduled to take place in Cairo from November 6 to 8.
The conference is expected to unveil the festival's vision, strategic objectives and participation opportunities for entrepreneurs, startups, companies and investors, as well as a number of initiatives related to innovation, investment and support for emerging businesses.
The festival is set to attract more than 100 exhibitors and over 60 international speakers representing government, business and investment circles.
The annual event has established itself as an international platform bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and development institutions to foster cross-border partnerships and create new opportunities for financing, trade and investment.
Egypt's selection as host reflects its growing role as a regional hub for entrepreneurship, investment and innovation, supported by its strategic location and economic weight, which position it as a gateway linking African markets with regional and international economies.
The Egyptian edition of the festival will be chaired by Baher Ghabbour, while Ambassador Nabila Makram will serve as secretary-general.
Hosting the event is expected to support economic activity and strengthen Egypt's investment profile, while creating opportunities for partnerships between entrepreneurs, investors, financing institutions and decision-makers.
