CAIRO - 22 April 2026: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held talks on Wednesday with Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Cairo, to discuss areas of shared interest and reinforce bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, both sides examined opportunities to expand economic and investment cooperation, boost bilateral trade flows, and tap into investment prospects across a range of high-potential sectors in Egypt.
The discussions also focused on the status of ongoing joint projects, highlighting the need to remove obstacles facing investors and continue enhancing the business climate, particularly as Egypt presses ahead with wide-ranging economic and structural reforms aimed at improving market competitiveness.
At the end of the talks, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to sustained coordination in the period ahead and to strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors, underscoring the strong strategic partnership between Egypt and Saudi Arabia and their mutual economic interests.
