CAIRO – 5 November 2025: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov oversaw the signing of a series of cooperation agreements between Egypt and Kyrgyzstan, aimed at expanding collaboration across economic, developmental, and cultural spheres, during the sidelines of the roundtable discussions.
Among the agreements was a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance bilateral investment relations, signed by Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib and Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zhanybek Kulubaev.
Another memorandum was concluded to strengthen cooperation in religious affairs and community outreach, signed by Minister of Awqaf Osama El-Azhary and Azamat Iusupov, Chairman of the National Commission for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations in Kyrgyzstan.
In addition, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat joined Minister Kulubaev in signing an MoU focused on electricity and renewable energy cooperation.
The discussions also resulted in a cooperation agreement in the field of agriculture, alongside an agreement covering economic, scientific, and technical collaboration, signed by Al-Mashat and Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed Kyrgyzstan’s decision to establish an embassy in Cairo, describing it as a significant step that will advance bilateral relations, particularly in trade, investment, and economic partnership.
