CAIRO – 27 July 2017: Two new technological parks will be inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi before the end of 2017, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Yasser el-Qadi said Thursday.

During inspecting the progress of establishing a technological park in Borg el-Arab, Qadi said that the two parks will be located in Beni Suef and New Sadat city, a statement from the ministry said.

The tech park in Borg el-Arab will be complete after the construction of a huge data center, the minister said.

Each park is expected to create 15,000 job opportunities, undersecretary of the ministry Abdel Nasser Awad said in June.

President Sisi approved during Cairo ICT conference in November the inauguration of two tech parks; one in New Assiut and the other in Borg el-Arab.

Technological parks are equipped with uninterruptible power supply and high-speed communication connections to serve companies, organizations and management offices.
