CAIRO – 25 March 2025: The InstaPay mobile application announced applying new fees on its transactions and services starting April 1, 2025.
The online payment solution application explained that this new update comes as part of the network's ongoing commitment to providing innovative and efficient digital financial services that meet user needs, ensuring service development and sustainability.
Money transfer fees via the InstaPay app will be at 0.1% of the total transaction value, with a minimum of LE 1 and a maximum of LE 20 per transaction, according to the application.
The app will also allow ten free balance or mini-statement inquiries per month per customer, with a fee of 50 piasters applied for each additional inquiry.
The network affirmed InstaPay's commitment to providing competitive digital financial solutions, while providing multiple support channels to assist customers with any inquiries related to the new fees through the app's official channels.
It also emphasized sticking to the highest standards of transparency by clarifying the fees due on transactions through the app before they are executed.
InstaPay was launched in April 2022, and since then, all transfers and inquiry services were available for free.
According to the app, the number of its users reached 12 million by the end of 2024.
