Nasr heads for Amman to take part in joint Egyptian-Jordanian Committee

CAIRO - 26 July 2017: Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr left here on Wednesday for Amman to take part in the 27th session of the joint Egyptian-Jordanian Ministerial Committee that will kick off later in the day.

The technical meetings of the preparatory committee for the joint Egyptian-Jordanian Ministerial Committee started on Monday under the co-chairmanship of Head of the Arab Sector at the Ministry of International Cooperation Fathy Abdel Azim and Secretary General of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade Youssef al Shemali.

Egyptian Ambassador to Jordan Tareq Adel and Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Ambassador Tareq ak Quni attended the preparatory committee meetings.

The committee is set to discuss means of bolstering economic and trade relations, especially in the fields of holding exhibitions, small- and medium-scale projects, exports promotion, investment, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, electricity, tourism and transport.

The two countries are expected to sign a number of documents in the various fields
