CAIRO - 24 July 2017: Egypt has imported cell phones, autos, household appliances with a total amount of $754.4 million during the first four months of 2017, Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced on Monday.

In its report about the external trade from January 2017 to April 2017, CAPMAS showed that Egyptian cell phones imports volume has reached $176.4 million, while Egyptian autos’ imports volume has recorded $417 million.

The report pointed out that household appliances imports in the same period have reached $161 million, as the refrigerators’ imports volume has recorded $55.7 million, the washing machines’ imports volume has recorded $23.9 million, and TVs imports’ volume has reached $81.4 million.
