CAIRO – 22 July 2017: Government-owned fund Tahya Masr has finalized the offering of the first phase of commercial shops for the youth in New Valley governorate, including 22 shops in el-Kharga district and 49 shops in el-Dakhla district, New Valley governor Mohamed el-Zamlout said on Saturday.

He added that a delegation from the fund has recently visited the site of the project’s second phase, which will be close to the residential area in the governorate to ensure the success of the commercial projects.

He said that the sites for the project have been chosen and finances have been allocated, adding that the commercial units will be run and administered by the youth.

Zamalout said that the project entails the establishment of a total of 200 commercial shops for recent graduates in a bid to create jobs for the governorate’s residents.

He added that another delegation from the fund will be visiting the governorate tomorrow to study the establishment of big development projects across New Valley.
