CAIRO – 13 February 2024: The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) entered into a cooperative partnership with Mashreq Global Network (MGN) from the UAE. The aim of this agreement is to export banking and commercial business services from the network’s center in Egypt.

As per the terms of the agreement, MGN will expand its presence in Egypt and offer a wide range of services, including data analysis, business intelligence, credit management, and various financial and banking solutions.

MGN will utilize its expertise in risk management and product management to serve customers of UAE's Mashreq Bank, with all operations originating from Egypt.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, during his attendance at the World Government Summit in Dubai. Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat also attended the ceremony.

This partnership is expected to create 300 job opportunities for skilled Egyptians, specifically focused on exporting banking business services throughout the three-year duration of the agreement.

CEO of ITIDA, Ahmed Elzaher, confirmed that this collaboration aligns with Egypt's digital strategy for developing the outsourcing industry from 2022 to 2026, aiming to double digital exports.

Talaat emphasized that Egypt stands out as a top choice for multinational companies seeking to broaden their operations and establish captive centers for global delivery services. This inclination is due to Egypt's wealth of skilled professionals, who are fluent in multiple languages and possess a track record of digital expertise across various IT domains.
