Egypt's exports record significant development, reaching 311.7Bln during last decade

CAIRO - 10 October 2023: Egyptian exports have witnessed remarkable developments in the last ten years, which led to the total value of Egyptian exports reaching about 311.7 billion dollars during the past 10 years, according to data from the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
 
Egyptian exports over the past years were distributed by 29 billion dollars in 2013, and 27.5 billion dollars Dollars in 2014 (decreasing 5.1%), in addition to $22 billion in 2015 (decreasing 20.2%).
 
In 2016, it recorded $22.5 billion (an increase of 2.3%), $26.3 billion in 2017 (an increase of 16.8%); and $29.3 billion in 2018 (an increase of 11.5%); in addition to $30.5 billion in 2019 (an increase of 4.1%); $29.3 billion in 2020, a decrease of 3.9%; $43.6 billion in 2021 (an increase of 48.8%); and finally $51.6 billion in 2022 (an increase of 18.3%).
 
 
The agency’s data showed that the top 10 countries importing finished goods from Egypt during the first half of 2023. They were distributed according to the following:
 
Turkey, worth $997.2 million.
 
United States of America, worth $868.6 million.
 
Saudi Arabia, worth $835 million.
 
Italy, worth $598.5 million.
 
Libya, worth $515.7 million.
 
UAE, worth $421.9 million.
 
United Kingdom: $362.8 million.
 
Spain, worth $358.4 million.
 
France, worth $295.3 million.
 
Germany, worth $273.3 million.
