Egyptian exports to Eastern Europe grow by 2.9% in January-April 2023

CAIRO – 27 July 2023: Egyptian exports to Eastern Europe grew by 2.9 percent to hit $3.5 billion in the first four months of 2023 up from the $3.4 billion recorded during the same period in the previous year with an increase of $63.6 million.

 

According to a report by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), Egyptian exports to Turkey rose by $114.1 million to become $1.7 billion up from $1.6 billion.

 

Exports to Romania rose by $84.8 million to be $251.4 million up from $166.6 million. Those to Cyprus rose by $16 million to be $34.5 million up from $18.4 million. And, exports to Ukraine rose by $13.6 million to become $36.2 million up from $22.5 million.
