CAIRO - 17July 2023: This week, Egypt will be hosting Egypt Mining Forum 2023, with the goal of establishing a sustainable and low-carbon future. 
 
The forum, organized by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, highlights 120 years of geological discoveries in the country.
 
In the below lines, et highlights the most important information about the forum:
 
1- The forum will host international specialists and experts, who will highlight the investment opportunities in the mining sector in Egypt, which is witnessing unprecedented transformations in legislation and procedures.
 
2- The forum sheds the light on the roadmap for the future of mining in Egypt, investment and partnerships as a key factor for unlocking the potential of the mining sector.
 
3- The forum includes more than 40 speakers, led by Engineer Tariq Al-Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to a number of mining ministers, representatives of countries and heads of companies will be participating in the forum.
 
4- The forum will discuss the latest emerging opportunities in the field of Egyptian mining, positive developments in terms of policies, licenses, legislation, investment and exploration opportunities, mechanisms for facing global and industrial challenges, and ways of advancing dialogue on technology and sustainability. 
 
5- It also sheds light on global developments in this industry, opportunities, challenges and efforts to reduce emissions and green transformation in the mining sector.
 
6- More than 2,000 decision-makers in the fields of the mining sector will participate in the forum, and it will provide the participants with opportunities to communicate and establish new business partnerships during the forum.
 
7- The Egypt Mining Forum also includes an exhibition hosting 50 exhibitors and 34 sponsors representing various sectors of the mining supply chain.
