CAIRO - 18 July 2017: Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Takehiro Kagawa said Japanese businessmen are interested in the Egyptian market, expecting more Japanese investments in the coming period after a new investment law was approved in the country.

In a statement, the envoy said businessmen have been waiting for a complete industrial infrastructure in the Suez Canal area.

Tourist arrivals are expected to rise as the two sides will start operating direct flights in October, the ambassador added.

As many as 20 schools will start applying the Japanese education system this year, he said, adding they will hire Japanese teachers and experts.
