Trade, Industry Minister inaugurates Xylem’s factory with EGP 300M investments

The global water solutions company Xylem inaugurated a new factory for water pumps in a joint venture between Xylem and Egypt's Tiba Manzalawi Group with The Minister of Trade and Industry, Ahmed Samir’s attendance.

Samir stated that the new factory will produce complete units and spare parts, including manufacturing and assembling the products of a group of distinguished brands in the field of water, with investments of LE 300 million. This accounts for more than $9.6 million.

The production capacity of the factory ranges from 2000 to 4000 water pumps annually.

The factory in its first phase will manufacture pumps for irrigation, central heating and air conditioning systems, building and commercial services, as well as final suction pumps used in industry and irrigation.
