CAIRO - 18 July 2017: Egyptian Housing Ministry has finalized 3,668 social housing units in New Qena City and will be implementing additional 2,160 units; 1,340 of which will be offered for rent, according to the ministry’s released statement on Monday.
The site also contains several amenities that have been fully constructed including nurseries and schools that will feature Japanese educational curricula, medical units, sport courts, and checkpoints as well as a hospital that will be constructed to include 175 patient beds.
Other amenities on site include youth center spanning over 15 feddans, a social club, a postal building, a public library, greenery, and an entertainment project.
The ministry is currently finalizing water networks, rural sanitation, and irrigation network units across the city.
