CAIRO - 6 March 2023: RiseUp, a company specialized in entrepreneurship, held a press conference to announce the details of the 10th edition of the “RiseUp Summit 2023”, which comes in a completely new way under the slogan “Stay Real”, which is scheduled to be held at the Grand Egyptian Museum from 16 to 18 March 2023.
 
About 14,000 people from 60 countries around the world are scheduled to attend the 10th edition of the summit, according to a press release.
 
“Over the course of 10 years, RiseUp was able to attract 5,000 investors, and Egyptian startups were able to raise about $3.5 billion, which contributed to boosting foreign investment in Egypt,” said Abdelhamid Sharara, founder and CEO of RiseUp.
 
Sharara added that the 10th edition of the summit comes with a distinctive character in terms of events, venue and partners, and it will provide solutions and serious steps to advance the entrepreneurship sector, as it provides more than 400 investment opportunities for startups.
 
This year's summit will include more than 300 speakers and experts from all over the world, most notably Ronaldo Mouchawar, VP Amazon and Founder of Souq.com, SHINEZ CHALABI
Head of Business Acceleration, Google MENA and Shaloo Garg, Managing Director at Microsoft in addition to speakers from LinkedIn, Disney, Meta, Snapchat, DreamWorks.
 
The summit this year will provide several advantages for startups, namely finding investment opportunities for startups that will be held through one-on-one meetings between entrepreneurs and investors, and providing job opportunities by giving start-up companies the opportunity to find employees according to their needs through the “opportunity wall” in which the required opportunities will be presented so that those wishing to work, and finally, consulting sessions will be held for startups from experts in the field of entrepreneurship.
 
The summit will be held in 2023 in cooperation with Marakez, Halan, Banque Misr, Intilaq, PepsiCo, Agora, Pay Mob, NGage, Alchemy, Ticketsmarche, Stardust, Startopia and Beanos Café.
