IDSC: Egypt to become regional hub for electronics

CAIRO - 8 February 2023: The cabinet's Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) published Wednesday an infographic about the industry of electronics in Egypt.

 

It said Egypt will become a regional hub for manufacturing electronics.

 

Three global companies started to produce mobile phones in the country at total investments of LE 2 billion and an annual production capacity of 20 million phones, the center said.

 

The center added a factory for OPPO company was established in Egypt at a cost of 20 million dollars and with a yearly production capacity of 4.5 million units annually.
