Dollar price increases at end of transactions at Egypt's major banks

CAIRO - 30 January 2023: The dollar exchange rate increased at the end of Monday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.
 
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered LE 29.90 for buying and LE 30.00 for selling.
 
At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar exchange rate recorded LE 30.00 for buying and 30.10 for selling.
 
According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 29.82 for buying and LE 29.92 for selling.
 
The euro price registered LE 32.45 for buying and LE 32.73 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.
 
The euro price at the CIB amounted to LE 32.55 for buying and LE 32.85 for selling.
 
According to the CBE, the average euro rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 32.41 for buying and LE 32.52 for selling.
 
The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered LE 36.98 for buying and LE 37.25 for selling.
 
At the CIB, the pound sterling exchange rate amounted to LE 37.11 for buying and LE 37.37 for selling.
 
According to the CBE, the average pound sterling rate at the Egyptian market registered LE 36.97 for buying and LE 37.10 for selling.
 
The Saudi riyal price stood at LE 7.94 for buying and LE 7.98 for selling at the NBE.
