Ten petroleum, transport firms to be offered on EGX in 3 yrs

CAIRO – 16 July 2017: Ten petroleum and transport companies are planned to be offered for trade on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) in the next three years, Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr said Sunday.

During her visit to Alexandria governorate, Nasr added that the companies affiliated with the Pubic Business Sector will be offered during the second phase.

"The to-be-offered firms should be profitable and attractive, in addition to their ability for growth and expansion,” the minister added.

Nasr discussed expanding Alexandria’s free zone and increasing investment opportunities available in it during her tour of the governorate.

Reviewing the development projects in the free zone, the minister said they are 406 at total capitals of $3.5 billion and investments of $9.9 billion. The projects offer 421,000 job vacancies.
