Egypt's agricultural exports surpass 5.6 mln tons since January: minister

CAIRO, Nov 18 (MENA) - Egypt's agricultural exports totaled 5,615,533 tons from January 1 to November 16, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed El Quseir has announced Friday after receiving a report presented to him by Head of the Central Administration of Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) ِAhmed el Attar.

The country's top agricultural exports were citruses, potatoes, fresh onions, fresh beans, grapes, fresh tomatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, guava, garlic, mango, watermelon, and pomegranates.

The exports included 1.673 million tons of citruses, 863,231 tons of fresh potatoes, 431,469 tons of onions and 165,001 tons of beans, according to the CAPQ report.
